In there it says everything is up to date, but my Forza is 95.6GB, I thought the patch was 100GB on top of the game, maybe I misread that.

From the top right is a list of Options have you changed that to be Xbox X enhanced? That should show you. Also there is a button combo you can press when on the game to see if the assets have downloaded. Not sure what it is off the top of my head I'm afraid.
Thanks, yeah when I select Xbox One Enhanced it shows me the list of games, I guess it must have patched without me realising, what threw me was I expected a 100GB update for Forza 7.

No way is an X update 100gb on top, that's like another full game size. This website below gives you an idea of some of the game sizes with X patches.

But Isn't that with an optional TV show video file which is around 75gb?
From the eurogamer article:
Remedy's Quantum Break is a 83.7GB download. If you want to download the optional TV show that can be a part of the game, you're looking at an extra 75.61GB. Ouch.
Reading both links above it sounds to me like most games with 4k assets will be around the 100gb mark, still huge.

my xbox day one dying has marred this launch a little for me
The incompetence of Openreach and a failed FTTP install and now being stuck with 1Mb ADSL for god knows how long has marred it for me.
