Xbox One X

Just had notice from amazon dispatch that it on it way and will arrive Wednesday. Not the best service for pre order for release day, when done back on 20th Aug
 
Me either but it’s the fact you pre order for release day and they don’t delivery on that offer... Just complained to amazon for the hell of it now over live chat. Don’t think it made any difference though.
 
One thing I’m excited about is that they have improved the 4K video blu Ray quality. If you read the what Hifi review they mention the picture in particular is much improved over the Xbox one s 4K blu Ray quality.

Different processing....could be one reason.

Here’s a quote from the what hifi review.

We weren’t particularly impressed with the Xbox One S’s handling of 4K Blu-rays, so we’re pleased to say things have moved along with the Xbox One X.

The biggest gains have been in the picture department. Play the opening battle between King Arthur’s army and the Saxons and the One X looks more vivid and detailed than its sibling. The X looks clearer and the lines drawn appear sharper.

The picture pops more too. As fireballs rain down from the sky, scattering soldiers like ten-pins, the yellow flames burn so fiercely you can almost feel the temperature rise.

When the alien ship breaches the ocean towards the latter stages of the film and Bumblebee and Nemesis Prime start knocking spots off each other, the sunlight pierces the sky with impressive intensity and bounces off the surface of the water.
 
Got mine (in NZ), connected external drive with games and settings backed up then powered her up. Took about 15 minutes to update (~800MB) and then just signed in as normal, very smooth process :)
 
Very much keeping an eye on this. I only have a ps4 because I don't have a 4k TV but one is imminent...would be a massive shame not to be able to use it properly.

Assassins creed looks good as well going off comparison vids.
 
Does anyone have experience with orders from argos?

I received a tezt saying I would get it for release day but nothing has changed on the status of my account.

I called them up yesterday and they said if I received a text I would receive it but they don't supply tracking numbers wtf.
