Build quality is certainly better but are you incapable of posting without the fanboyish trolling?

The Pro is a very good console with a great line up of games. I'm glad I'm lucky enough to have them both.

Also you slated the standard PS4 before the Pro as well so you were saying about how good Sony usually are?

I agree no way the pro was badly design. I loved it the time I had it. But it had to go to make way for the X as I also have a switch. I just couldn’t justify having a pro waiting for new games. I can borrow one when new games come along. I am loving the X one hell of a kit
 
Stuff it I ordered one, I liken this to much the same as when I spend over a grand on a gaming PC and then play 10 year old games
 
Really impressed with my Scorpio. I have yet to buy a 4k TV (though am eyeballing a nice LG Nano Cell set) but can see a clear step up graphics with with Shadow of War, The Witcher 3 and Gears 4. It's also faster and quieter in general.
I did think the Supersampling talk was a bunch of hyperbole, but it really is noticeable.
 
Set mine up today, only running a 32" 1080P TV but the difference is clearly noticeable. Gears4 running 60fps is worth it alone.

Very noticeable. Ive played 7 hours of Oblivion and it looks amazing. Some of the textures look super sharp and theyve really made it look great with the upscaled patch.

Apart from being an awkward shape that sounds like a jet engine, yeah it's fine.

Sony do usually make quality hardware. The PS4 was ok, except that the launch model PS4 had an inefficient cooling system that meant it overheated and got noisy after a while.

The Pro was just an uninspired double decker design that made the noise situation even worse.

Fact of the matter is the the 1S (and the 1X to an even larger extent) are far more effectively designed.

I have not mentioned games or whether or not it offers a good gaming experience. Simply that the Pro is not up to Sony's usual standard of design. Whereas the 1X is the absolute pinnacle of console design.
 
For new Xbox people it might be well worth grabbing a few 'Games Pass' codes off eBay, can be had for less than three quid for a month :eek:

Bit harsh, I'm lucky enough to have both and I wouldn't call it junk, outspecced but still a good machine and it's £100 quid cheaper. Just out of interest has anyone had an error 8027025A app failed to start error, seems mainly when you're using an external HDD mine has once but straight after it loaded fine perhaps I'm suffering from new console paranoia.

I’ve not had that one but I’ve had a couple times the game quits to dashboard and it asks me if I own this game, not sure if connected.
