Quite an interesting divide going on here.

Perhaps a poll would be good!

We have a TV in our room and do regularly watch stuff while in bed.

Watch most/almost all stuff on the PC these days. Might stick an episode on and watch it in bed, but i try not to as i usually fall asleep half way through anything i put on... I prefer to read in bed.

Watch TV in bed every day. I have to get up very early for work so tend to move upstairs quite early. Crash on the bed leaning on a couple of spare pillows until 9pm and then surf the 'net, like now, whilst listening to it (currently it has been live at the Apollo on Dave).

I say watch TV ... but most of the time it's stuff off Plex

I'm an odd one in that I watch TV in bed every night and have a set off timer on my TV so it turns off automatically at midnight. I also find it difficult to go to sleep without the TV on (hence the timer), I usually stick on a movie or TV episode I have seen before (currently it is an episode of Stargate) but am interested in watching because if it is something I haven't seen and want to see I try and pay too much attention and if it is something I do not want to see or hear that just annoys me. Have been this way for as long as I can remember.

So basically a completely dark and silent room makes it harder for me to fall asleep!!

I did try music at one point but it just wasn't the same.

Exactly the same as me. Drives my wife nuts! :p

Not an odd one, I do exactly the same. Stick a film on I've seen before and it puts me straight to sleep. Usually out within 15mins after watching 10mins to settle down. Even when staying away I use the TV with a timer or a laptop if there isn't one. I can fall asleep in a silent room but a film pretty much puts me out when I want to sleep.

Don't watch it there for regular viewing, still use living room for that.

Usually fall asleep watching TV (on my laptop) or listening to a podcast.

It's supposed to be bad for your quality of sleep but I struggle to wind down without it.

Used to, but girlfriend couldn't cope with the light since she has chronic migraines nearly every day so we got rid of the television.
Whenever shes away I resort back to watching films on my chromebook and fall asleep so much easier. Sounds counter intuitive but its what I have always done.
Now a days I just read something on my kindle app with the screen inverted to black.
