Xbox One X

I'm still worried by this occasional 8027025a error that I keep getting. Some days the console is fine and another day it will do it and possibly take two or three attempts to run a game. All my games are on two self powered Seagate externals and it's happened on both. Other than that it's been fine no crashes while gaming, updates all download and install ok I can transfer gigs of data between all drives with no errors so I'm scratching my head and need some reassurance as it's direct from Microsoft and not as simple as just nipping back to the store. When I rung them they said hardware problems would normally manifest in the drives not being recognised and basically gave it a clean bill of health, still worried though :-\

I guess you did a factory reset of the console ?

it's what an Xbox One X Project Scorpio edition looks like just before it dies. in this case, my Scorpio.
for a few days it kept telling me there was a problem with syncing saves and difficulty signing in and then the above.

nice talk with MS and they are coming to pick it up, oh well...

Yeah mine has the map. I paid £4 the other day for it and all the DLC is still tied to my account so I'm glad I didnt pick up the GOTY edition for more money. Prices for the old games which have been up-spuffed have risen by a bit in game shops I've noticed.
 
Do you think Xbox Store will do any deals on 12m gold sub soon with Black Friday approaching. Got some credit I can use at a shop but not sure if I should buy the sub or get xbox gift credit in the hope the xbox store will have a good deal.
 
Tried HALO5 last night, damn that game looks crisp at 4K :D Not the best Halo by a long shot, but beautiful to look at!

How close are you to it running out? Lots of people are getting the option of renewing for £26.50. I did mine yesterday.

Seem to remember live being sold at around £20 for a week or so during Black Friday last year,game and Amazon I think?
Mine runs out mid December so will be looking out myself.
