Whilst I actually like the look of both those cars, I don't like the look of this

The AMG V8 biturbo is one of the top engines around, what’s the problem?

Not keen on it personally.

Doesn't really do anything for me and doesn't appear to do anything new or original. For me personally I'd have an F-type SVR, 911, AMG GT or even an Audi R8 over this.

Gaping front looks horrid, rear looks like a Laguna, interior looks like a Nissan and a German engine in an Aston?

Saw this earlier and first thought was what the hell happened at the front?!
It just looks plain ugly, made worse with the seemingly random positions for the sensors.
Just looks so unfinished to me rather than mean or sporty.

It is a nice engine... it's just Aston engines always had a special flare about them.

The 3.8/4.0 NA 911 engines are more enjoyable though...

That's an interesting point. I assume it will be placed somewhere in the middle of that grill. I wonder if it will make the grill look smaller, or look totally out of place, like an afterthought.

As much as I really like the new Vantage (except the steering wheel ), I can't help but notice that it's the same price as the McLaren 540C... and I think i'd prefer the McLaren.

Looks great. The older Aston’s look awful, bloated and with nasty old fashion interiors.

The usage of Merc parts has brought Aston out of the dark ages and the styling is much sharper than what they usually put out.
