Xbox One X

I'm sending mine back to Microsoft, GAME refused me a a refund or exchange, all very frustrating. I noticed the kettle lead it came with has 2.5amp written on it with a 5 amp fuse inside, is this the same as everyone else's? I've heard there's an issue with some of them.

You tried to refund it because of a kettle lead? cant you just buy the right fuse/lead or is there more to it?

You want to return it because of a fuse?

Sorry, no, it’s been playing up since I had bought it, I’ve been moaning about it previously in this thread. I wanted to know if the lead could be an issue, ive read it has been for several people on reddit.

How the hell can they refuse to refund or exchange the console? You're well within your rights to either! What did they say cheeky sods?

Microsoft are quite good and offer advanced exchange.

I purchased a one S from game and they also refused to replace when the fan was broken. Ms did it with no bother. Would never advise a purchase from game, the CS is terrible and I will avoid at all costs!

Well mine is going back tomorrow as I'm sick and tired of the fan noise up, down, up down its doing my head in especially on COD and CW, at one point I thought it was taking off. When I spoke to Microsoft they said it's normal but after hearing another one today mine sounds like a Dyson...... Not happy!

Mine has made nothing more than a gentle hum. Something definitely up with that one hopefully you can get it swapped.

Mine started to ramp up a bit playing Wolfenstein 2 but it was because I had moved it up against the side of my TV cabinet whilst cleaning. The vents are on the sides so i'd actually blocked one side off, been fine since I moved it.

If yours is getting that loud definitely something wrong there.

Picked up my One X yesterday which came with a free copy of Forza 7, but promptly traded it in for Wolfenstein 2.

Initial impressions are the thing is tiny compared to my old Xbox One but with the PSU being internal it weighs a tonne! Setup was simple, it picked up my settings saved on my external drive straight away.

First game I played was Wolfenstein and having played the trial I noticed the difference immediately, even on my 1080p screen. Getting a new TV very soon though. Fallout 4 looks better to me too, even without it being patched, or maybe I'm imagining it? I've not noticed any fan noise yet, seems silent to me.

Overall, very impressed with it so far, looking forward to getting it on a 4k screen.

Same, I've been looking at the Plantronics 400lx, 600lx and 800lx but I can't find anywhere that sells them in the UK.

Yeah was looking all over for the 600LX last night i think i'll just wait for them to be released and in the mean time order a set of Sades SA810's which have good reviews and are only £19.99

I have the Plantronics 800LX by the way.

I'm not much of an audiophile really but they are comfortable for long periods, the battery lasts ages and the sound does seem very good to my tinnitus riddled ears.
