LIES!!!!!! :O :P

Nope, They used it, and found no difference between it and the driver prior to it, check their link.
mate do you work for nvidia, i only ask because everyone of you posts have been on the gpu section hunting down amd discussions and trying to prove nvidia are better,
definitely not a nvidia rabid fanboy as your posts seem too sensible and well constructed for that so just thought i would ask as you seem to be a bit obsessed about it all

17.11.1 is missing performance optimisations in specific scenarios, so 17.11.2 or later should be used for testing.

And flip the coin and watch matt only link to any games that make the Vega line up look respectable while ignoring where it shows bad results across the majority, cherry picking on both sides, both with an equal number of "fans".

you mean matt who does work for amd....

and even as such does come across as a balanced person with the pros and cons of the cards he talks about.

just go back through any discussion.

I get paid for it though. :D

My job duties have nothing to do with posting on this forum, but I've been a member here for 10 years so I'll always visit and be active when it comes to things i am interested in. Plus it allows me to keep a finger on the pulse of what's going on in the community with AMD hardware/software, which is always handy in my line of work.

There is usually some variation in performance from one test to another which is why most reviewers do multiple runs and take an average, What 'Games Hardware' are saying here and showing with their slides is performance between these two drivers is almost completely identical. its almost like they copy and paste and change a couple of the numbers by .1 and 1 to give it some but minimal variation.
Yet in reality multiple runs on the same drivers and hardware are never this identical, it seems too much of a perfect illustration to be real, but it is useful to make a point.

It looks fake.

Are there other people who made this same test or is this the only one?

Do every wonder how the fanboys are going to react if AMD decided to pull out of the consumer market leaving the entire field open for Nvidia to charge 500 GBP for mid range cards?
