About 9,500,000 MW/s away from space exploration, i don't think i can endure the 2000 mouse clicks it will need to get it there! (i probably will :()

The starting limit is 20 upgrades, you can't buy more even if you have the Yomi to afford it. You'll eventually get into battles where you can earn honor and use that to increase the limit.

Like everything in the game, it increases on an exponential scale. Exploration is very slow at first but as you launch more probes and they replicate (and they replicate) it'll increase faster.

Doh - yep after boosting self replication for a while, exploration is actually now occuring at a reasonable rate :)

You need 10,000,000 MW/s total capactity, not generation capacity so you can build batteries and leave it going whilst they fill up.
 
Shorter than I expected, but very creative and a huge amount of fun.

The amount of manual clicking required in the early stages can be tedious. Fortunately I can hammer out 9 clicks per second.
