Comfortable Jeans?

Hey folks, a bit of an update, I bought a pair of Levi 501's (used, don't judge!) and whilst I like a bit of comfort around the waist I bought a 36/32 size, and the waist size is about right (ideally they would be a 35 waist) as the 36 is a bit baggy but nothing a belt would not fix.

However, the issue is the fit, they look huge on my legs, like width-wise, almost like boot cut all the way up (in particular under the knees!) I was basically told by a friend they looked 'baggy' which I couldn't work out why - are 501's that style ? In which case I would no doubt need a different version as whilst I do not want skinny jeans, I definitely do not want them almost twice the size of my legs (slight exaggeration but you know what I mean...) - leg day skipping jokes would go into overdrive!

501s are fairly "tolerant" fit wise. Personally as mentioned before I've given up on Levi and been buying Wrangler as the fit and quality is more like Levi back in the day (and probably better).

501's as straight from the knee down. So compared to modern slim tapered styles they will look a little baggy.

More expensive jeans always are more comfy. Cheap jeans end up feeling scratchy and stiff.

That said my River Island skinny jeans are the most comfy pair I own, they're not too tight but they feel good too.
That's true they are light and stretch a fair bit.

Thought I'd post in here instead of making a new thread, I can't get any bloody jeans.. I am a size 38 waist with a 29 leg, Can't find any good branded pairs, Anyone got any clues where to look?

Ive started wearing braces instead of a belt recently, it is so comfortable. The fashion disaster can be hidden under a jumper

Tbh jeans arent that bad, you get used to them, i remember only wanting to wear trakkies and not liking jeans when i was about 12, now its pretty much exclusively jeans and wearing lighter suit trousers just feels weird

The most comfortable jeans I ever owned were made by 26 Red, and I never wore any other brand.

Unfortunately 26 Red appears to have died many years ago. I'd buy them if they were still around today.

So does anyone know where I could get 38 waist/29 leg? I've never really owned a pair of jeans as I find them quite uncomfortable too, If I buy them with a bigger leg size could I get them "Took up"? Would they look just as good before and after getting that done? I've tried Levi's 501's and 511's, The 501's were massive at the bottom almost like baggy bootcuts? 511's were simply too long, I tried a 38 and 40 waist in them the 40 was absolutely massive I could stretch them out from my hips. :D

Jeans out of the house or chinos. But when I'm indoors or casual I'm straight into joggers

Kept seeing ads for Thread.com on FB. Anyone used them? Signed up for a laugh and saw they had some black Nudie jeans on sale for £60, as well as a £10 off voucher. Awaiting delivery. Anyone tried Nudie jeans? Seem quite well regarded.

501, never buy anything else, granted they are not the same as they used to be as they have moved production to Mexico (GO TRUMP)

Even better if you can get someone to bring you them back from the states and save big amounts of cash. (Macy often have 2 for 1 as well)
