Saturday night TV

ahh yes, the old "sorry this show that's been scheduled has been cancelled because football"

wouldnt it be great if someone could make a channel specifically for football, even sports of all kinds, so that it need not interrupt normal tv. what a great world that would be

Except it will be shown on those sports channels and won't interrupt normal TV.

Been rubbish ever since A Team, Knightrider and Gladiators stopped on a Saturday

YES! Loved this show. Although I'd like to see a version where our senior politicians go on. Boris vs. Hunt with some giant Q-tips.

Back to the thread topic - I don't follow football so find it particularly annoying when it takes over the airwaves!

It should be the other way around. Sports should be free-to-view and you should have to pay extra to watch all the other ***** that is forced upon you

Don’t forget:

The Generation Game
Beadles about
You Bet
Big Break
Brian Conley show
Stars in their eyes
Blind Date
Noel’s house party
Baywatch

Some epic stuff. Bet the pubs are happy that Saturday tv is so crap now.

All rubbish but still better than the rubbish in today

I’m crap at working out if someone is kidding or being serious, you can’t REALLY be serious can you?
I think that I’d prefer to be tied to a chair, with my eyes forced open, watching Jeremy Kyle on a continuous loop than that steaming pile of ordure you’ve mentioned.
I’ve no opinion on whether Saturday TV is crap now, having a life, I’m rarely home on a Saturday night.

3-2-1

And an Arine movie later in the evening, usually Running Man or Predator

Computer forum loses its **** and shows a touch of the tism over an activity that involves physical exercise, working with other people, and being good at something that others care about.

More at eleven.

have to agree, it's pretty much apprentice, top gear, robot wars and dr who are the only terrestrial shows i watch any more, and most of the time i just watch them on iplayer.

as much as i love to complain about ads, youtubes 30s or 5s skippable ads pale in comparison to most channels (non bbc) policy of 15mins of adverts per hour of programming

15 Minutes...!

I wish

There are shows out there now that run as low as 38 mins/hour :(
