I enjoyed 4-3-2-1 when I first started and found it suited my style quite well. Wanted a little more width though so moved to 4-3-3 (The one with one CDM) and found I've been better since that switch.

Struggled with 4-3-2-1 as I moved up the leagues a little for some reason.

What's your team?
 
I must say I’m not massively impressed with OTW salah , think I prefer mkhitaryan really . If I sold salah I could strengthen my back line and have

Chiellini
Ramos
Carvahal

I would then swap Herrera with modric Henderson with kovacavic or Kroos(slow but when I’ve come across him he’s played well)
Bailey is good but I am finding he does seem to be out of position .

Can't see anything I can afford/want to sell ahead of this week other than possibly linking De Bruyne a bit easier and getting Walker/TOTGS Stones and Jesus. Means benching Manolas, Florenzi and SIF Icardi though, hmmmmmm

I'm still using 4321, got very used to the formation and the team. One tactic I find very effective and repeatable is to get the ball to the LF/RF, draw in the full back and then playing the ball in behind to your striker who will have made a run into the space on that side.

Reached the annoying period where my only upgrades are 100s of 1000s now, ideally I want (at some point) Suarez, Pogba and the Bayern trio in the bottom left corner but those sort of upgrades are months of grinding away so I'm a bit disillusioned.
 
I know that feeling. I refuse to buy packs to help generate the coins needed and really can't be bothered with trading either so I'm stuck playing games and the SBC to get the bonus coins from that. Just ran out of the 1000 coin boosts for each game too which helped massively to begin with.

Bought Jesus, Bailly, Martial and Demebele for my BPL team in the last couple of days. Only a few players I need to upgrade before anyone better is just going to cost far too much for my liking.
 
Nothing in Gold 2 rewards. Sold my main team at about 10k loss (made money on Neymar and Mbappe, which saved me.) Currently sitting on 1.3mil with no idea what to do.

Think I’m going to wait till after Christmas or see if a market crash occurs over fitness.
 
Well today I tried the DKT for the first time.
I made it to the final but lost e-2 in extra time which was a bit upsetting as I missed a one on one which would have put me 3-2 up minutes befire he scored.

Also I had to patch if enner Valencia with a +6 attribute card to make him playable as despite his good stats he's not great.
 
I mean I won't get it and a 2* WF is awful, but it looks good.

Stocking up on 83/84s ahead of Futmas starting tonight, with any luck there's some solid cards to start off with...
 
If Futmas is anything like Black Friday it can kiss my ass.

Giving Squad battles a break as the AI is just broken. In Div 6 for online seasons, this was my first game last night. I'm not that good, the guy got EAIDSed out of the game within 12 mins. Should have just quit.

Gone to 41212(2), seems to be working better for me. Quick striker/slow strong striker works well.

Futmas last year really popular, particularly with certain cards that were used all year round (Can, Dembele etc). With any luck it stays the same.
 
I bought Luis Hernadez for a 3rd time yesterday, such a regret. Not sure if it was because he wasn't the lone ST in 4321 anymore and working alongside Ronaldo in 41212 (2) but he was woeful, touch, strength, finishing, everything. He had over 2 goals a game for me ratio in the two other times I had him. I managed to not lose any coins selling him through the night which was good.

I was thinking Son + Mane combo possibly. I want to try Dybala/Mertens, they were my main men last year.
 
What actually was FUTmas last year? Didn't make it past October last year with the car crash that was FUT17!

The Salah POTM looks really handy, shame I won't be able to get it!
