Increasing pain. Niggling pains that come and go, becoming more frequent until they're permanent.
Ear hair. What on earth is that about? Why do my ears need hair? Maybe some of the hair that's no longer on my head has wandered off a bit

The delight of removing my shoes after a long day at work.
A nice sit down and a cup of tea is far more appealing than going out.
My cultural references are older than many of my coworkers. Older than some of their parents.
Beer. I never liked beer when I was younger. Now I do. Just one bottle now and then, about once a month. I'm trying various beers. My local Tesco has a surprisingly large choice. Fresh out the shower, bottle of beer and a good book. Lovely.
Presbyopia to add to my myopia and astigmatism. I'm putting off getting varifocal glasses because I don't want to bet a minimum of £300 on being able to get used to them quickly, but I'm going to have to. Either that or carry two pairs and swap between them.
Grey hair, but oddly specific. My pubic hair is grey, but the rest of my hair is the same colour it's always been.
I've become startled by what young people wear outdoors, especially at night. Then I remember that when I was their age I used to walk around in jeans and a thin t-shirt in snow and not be bothered. I hope I never say "you'll regret it when you get older", like people said to me.
On the whole, what I've noticed is that I've become rather like how my mother was when I was a boy and she was middle-aged. Apart from the ear hair and the beer. Quite possibly also the pubic hair, but I'm not going to ask her about that
