Disgusting waste of money
, Why aren't we asked what we want the BBC to spend it on, it is after all our money.

We can't even vote with our feet, you have to pay it and they do what they want. What other business could get away with that?

Only thing i watch on BBC is Match of the day. Anything else is a load of rubbish.

Whilst I would be more than happy to see less religion on the TV and radio there are plenty of religious licence fee payers for whom it is important.

I was hoping they'd get rid rather than increase. "Thought for the day" on Radio 4 is very dated really, asking religious figures to pontificate on ethics/moral issues, although the points themselves are often worthwhile. Just seems like something that belongs in a bygone age.
