33 and...
- Enjoy talking to complete strangers if the chance ever comes up. For example, if I see a mint looking dog being walked as I'm going for lunch or something then I'm likely to stop for a chat, and some extreme petting. Or if I'm in a shop buying clothes or whatever, and the shop assistant starts small talk, then I'll engage. This never used to be the case. As I get older, I find myself being able to tolerate more, for the better of course.
- Like playing with babies and animals. They're often messy or goofy, but I get on well with them and they're really amusing too! You can also be goofy with them and nobody bats an eyelid. Act like a child any other time and people lose their minds.
- I don't really take things too seriously, as in things that others make a big deal of, I don't. Why fret? Just relax and be calm. People at work mention it often, not in a bad way of course, but I tend to not beat around the bush about anything. If a director asks something, they'll get a straight up answer or solution, "yes your idea will work, here's when it can be done" or "no that won't work, here's why, I propose this instead" - Obviously office politics means common sense never prevails, but still....
- Dislike using cash or even chip and pin as time goes on. If it isn't contactless, I might just walk away. I prefer efficiency in technology, even though I have lots of patience for biology. I feel as though in 2017, retail outlets should all be up to date.
- I used to prefer solitude when younger (late teens to early 20s) but now prefer the company of others more. I suppose as we get older we naturally want to be part of something greater, a sense of community, if you will
- Still hate Golf
- Still hate gardening
- Still hate reality TV
- Still like gaming
- Still like rubbish jokes
- I find I appreciate music much more as I get older, there are some really great modern songs and albums out there, but even classics have a new lease of life with modern re-masterings. I don't think enough people in the modern world appreciate the benefits of music therapy.
- Proof reading the posts of others on the internet is more and more amusing:
Were they leaving sick?
