These are portable headphones for 'audiophiles' rather than 'professional' ones I had before, so I guess the cups are smaller for that reason.

They are much more comfortable though.

Thx! Ideally wanted cordless but wasn't prepared to stretch to that silly price.
I paid nowhere near RRP and can offset the VAT so for under £150 I'm not complaining.

Have you looked at the likes of the FiiO BTR1 OR Astell & Kern xb10? Some places have the btr1 for as little as 40 quid, going to pick one up soon as I'm fed up of lumping a wired headphone amp around and my exynos s8 headphone output is rubbish
