YouTube star Logan Paul uploads a monetised video of a suicide victim to "raise awareness"

Logan Paul is one of the worst of the 'YouTube stars', nearly up there with George Miller.

Just a rancid individual.

He knows what that place is, it’s famous for it. He came a crossed a body, made jokes, filmed it, edited it, rewatched it and then uploaded it.

There’s a million points along the way he could have stopped but he didn’t. Apologies is fake and too late.

The guy is a scumbag.

Pretty much this. He had multiple opportunities to stop and didnt. Swear filter doesn't allow me to say what I really think of him.

Raising awareness my butt.

social media at its finest.the thing is hes doing it so we watch are we any worse ? if we didnt watch such **** he wouldnt do it. if theres money to be made someone somewhere will do whatever it takes to make it.

less of the 'we' there!!
i don't watch these idiots.

I saw my first dead body when I was 16 years old. It was also a suicide victim (my father).

The more I read about this cretinous attention whore and his ******* video, the angrier I am.

This Logan Paul, and his brother Jake, seem to have a lack of self awareness, as though they haven't grown up.

I don't think Logan thought he would get this reaction. It doesn't help that in the video he appears to be laughing.

Whether he made money from the video or not, he went to that place with the idea to get views for his channel for the shock value. He thought it was worth it.

As for rent-a-mob wishing death on him, they are nearly as bad as him and have a lack of self awareness.

Vlogger vlogs about what happened during his day, I don't see the problem. Can we only vlog about nice stuff... What about if he had found a dead homeless person? By not allowing people to vlog about things you don't like you are in effect exercising censorship. I assume he didn't intentionally go out looking for a suicide victim right? FYI I haven't watched the video and don't intend to.

I can't be the only one who thinks this is way out of proportion?

Agreed regarding the censorship. I think my position is that this has been blown way out of proportion.

However, he uploaded the video, therefore even if he didn't go out looking for it, he still decided to upload it.

We don't get much of it in this country, but plenty of mainstream media show dead bodies in news reports and newspapers. In most cases it doesn't actually add anything other than titilation: they're doing it for the ad revenue.

When a youtuber does similar (not just limited to this incident), lots of knickers gain lots of twists.
