I’d go for the RXC GT-ROAD myself. Awesome car !

How much is your budget ? I’ve seen a lot of figures thrown about ?

At the moment I have about £330k to play with. Increasing it a few days per week though, so I'm hopeful that will exceed £400k by buy time.

And yes... that Radical is very high on my list... I don't like the idea of towing very much... so being able to drive that to/from track is nice. I also really like downforce... so it's probably going to win my affection.

A 650bhp twin turbo V6 in a sub 1100kg car must be amazing.

Still... it's possible I will like the Mono more... so trying both to make my mind up.

I am leaning towards RXC/Mono + another car... I think I'd be a bit dim to stick 15-20k miles per year on a Ferrari... so to do RXC/Mono + Ferrari + decent daily... I'll have to push my budget a bit more or wait on one of them.

£400k could just about get me RXC/Mono + 488GTB + M4/M5... then maybe stick an order in for a 911 Turbo S to be delivered in Sep/Oct and part-ex the M4.

What about the upcoming Tesla roadster ? That looks like a beast in the performance department. Looks good too.

The rxc gt road is a good choice. As you say. You can drive to and from track without messing about with a trailer / tow.

Trying to think what I’d buy if I had that much to spend :D

And are you planning on spending all of that? If not then it's not the budget is it?

If it really is £330k-£400k then I'm not sure this forum has the requisite expertise to advise.

Not really interested in a Tesla... although it wouldn't be a terrible daily.

I drove a Model S with Insane Mode while I was in Switzerland and even though I knew it was fast... I was happy to get back into my Boxster afterwards.

It's too linear... you get the initial push and then there's no drama... it just goes.

I'm a petrolhead... I like experiencing how an engine changes as it progresses through the rev range. I love the feel of a proper racing sequential gearbox that kicks you in the back when you upshift on full throttle, even PDK / M-DCT give you a great feeling... the noise of a high revving flat-6, v8 or v12 (even some 4-pots, like the one in my Caterham sound great).

Yes... that's how much I'm planning on spending... I'm not emptying my trading account to do this. That would be dim, I still want/need to make money to build a house.

Do you actually have £330k cash, physically?

Nope... I don't have a safe and carrying that amount around in your wallet would be a bit cumbersome.

Most cash I've ever held in my hand was about £10k.

It's so much harder spending it when you see a wodge like that, really easy when it's just numbers on a screen.

Ok let me rephrase that. Do you have £330k cash, in the bank as of right now? Which you can spend as you like?
