*** Nintendo Switch ***

Anyone know where I can get one of those hori stands ? There £20 on Amazon instead of 9.99 the usual price but out of stock at Argos and a couple of others I have checked :(

Had my switch for a month or so now, I find it quite uncomfortable in portable mode. It's mostly the right the stick that is the issue, hurts my thumb after a while :(. I caved and bought a pro controller, it's nice, but still think £50 is a bit much.

One of the joycon sticks is slightly looser than the other now as well. Hard to describe, but it you can sort of rock the top of it back and fourth a little more than the other one. Not sure if that's normal and just a variation between them as I didn't pay much attention when I got it. Do the joycons have their own warranty? If it got worse will Nintendo replace just one?

I've got mario as well, I've only just started it, but decent so far. Controls are a little confusing though, game claims controls are the same no matter what, but then for the spin throw it shows two seperate joycons and sort of flicking them from right to left (I think that was the motion). How's that work when in portable mode, am I suppose to move the whole console? What if I'm using the pro controller.

You can flick the pro controller although it isn't as effective as separate joycons it's perfectly playable that way. In handheld I think I just played it straight.

Every thumbstick does this with time. It should reach a level where it stabilises and doesn't get much looser, but if it's loose enough that it moves by itself then Nintendo should repair it.

It's worth carrying on mate - at least to 500 moons as there's some great content you won't want to miss.

Yeah I will for sure, just like Zelda now, after finishing the main stories I can divide my time between other games that are "pick up and play"

I like to concentrate and a single story at a time when gaming.

It's all coming together :) They just need to phase out the 3DS and concentrate all their efforts to future iterations of the Switch as their sole home and portable console.

That is bloomin incredible. Well done Nintendo! :)

I am getting the new game itch...and currently I am really fancying Kirby which is out in March :o

DQ Builders is out on the 9th Feb. I liked the demo but I don't think it's for me. Maybe at a later date. Someone in work has it on pre-order so maybe I can borrow or buy it from her when she is done with it.
Then Bayonetta on the 19th Feb which I have on pre-order even though I know I won't be able to play it right away.
Then Kirby 19th March which does indeed look cool. Will wait for opinions on it of the single player before I decide whether it's for me or not.
