Hi all,
So bought a couple of computer items locally from a guy for a good price, namely a Fractal case, some lovely Noctua fans and a corsair H100i cooler...nothing interesting there.

So gets the stuff home and leaves it for a couple of days before I get to changing out my old case etc for the replacements.

This morning I decided to fit the cooler and started going through the box for all the relevant bits and pieces I removed the inner box to find a disk face down which I assumed would be the software for the cooler...how wrong I was, this was more like "Hardware" pun intended.

Now I don't know whether to phone him and ask if I could have DVD 1 so I have the full set, or if I should drop off DVD 2?

Be kind...drop it around to his house, make sure you hand it to his wife/parents/boyfriend/girlfriend and that you enjoyed it muchly. Could you have more.

I once had to remote in to a new sales consultants personal laptop to set up all our sale software for him and the internet shortcuts

5 new tabs, 5 company URL's entered and loaded. Pop in to the bookmarks list and there are HUNDREDS of porn links saved in there, and I mean hundreds, I couldn't scroll to the bottom so just had to laugh and tell him to bookmark them himself. He was watching all this and just said "good job it wasn't the wife remoting in!" :D

Umm ... Big rack ... so it was a server build ?
She's welcome to rackmount my load balancer :p

My best story like this was when a user was having trouble accessing his Outlook 365 webmail on his personal laptop, so I opened Chrome, went to "portal.office.com/Home" but being lazy just typed "por" and hit enter so it would autocomplete, and it did, to pronhub. Thus ensued the two of us shouting at each other over whose fault it was and drawing all the eyes in the office to the screen XD

A colleague of mine was doing a presentation to a client in our boardroom from his personal laptop (I forget why) and something similar happened. Started typing “po” and the autocomplete suggested pronhub. It was only on screen for a split second before he continued typing and it went away but I think everyone saw it.
