Gemballa are up there with Mansory when it comes to hideous vehicle modifications. At least that Gemballa isn't all show and no go; 550bhp..

I would say deffo on bags as the roads in Romania are absolutely shocking! It's also on a huge hill so would be bottoming out everywhere.

Gotta love the 1000SP and the SWB Sport Quattro!! :D

Last time I saw a mint Quattro I was perving over it for ages. :p

So my Brother-in-Law woke up this morning to find all four 22” wheels and the spare wheel stolen from his new Discovery HSE Luxury.
Sorry for the poor photo - it’s all he sent me.

Surprised it doesn’t happen more often: most locking wheel nuts can be removed in seconds with the right kit, and a set of new 22” Land Rover wheels with tyres are easy to hide in the back of a van and probably worth easily £2-3k. A lot easier and less risky than stealing an entire car.

Jeez that’s some serious lifting to take all those. I assume they are the 21” ones on the dynamic pack? Did they take the spare too?

Judging by the fiesta plate he’s JLR management?

yes the spare was stolen too so he says

thats why u need aftermarket security, the tilt sensor would have triggered

no idea why companies cant put decent security in these days, still using 10 year old tech

Somewhat surprised new Land Rovers don't come with (tilt sensor) alarms as standard

-edit
Although having said that, how effective is an alarm these days anyway?
I'm not sure my Golf has one. I know my Audi does, because it's got buttons in the door to deactivate the interior and tilt sensors for ferries and whatnot.

Out of interest, where's the spare on the new Disco? Underneath?

I guess if you had a crew of 4, all with jacks (plus axle stands) you could raise it evenly anyway. Wouldn't take long either :(

I know a mate who had his 4 series wheels stolen in Birmingham not too long ago. Also saw a brand new SQ7 up on bricks. The sills would have been an absolute mess. I just can’t believe that this still happens!

In other news I saw a sparkly gold wrapped Panamera on the Hagley road last night. On my bike so no photo I’m afraid. One hell of a classy machine.

Highlighted the issue. You need to move. :p
