Windows 10

the 1803 image is a gig smaller than 1709?

1GB smaller?

I checked to compared 1709 and 1803 iso sizes:

1709 64 bit 3.54GB
1709 32 bit 3.08GB
1803 64 bit 3.47GB
1803 32 bit 2.62GB

Maybe you downloaded combined iso contained both 32 and 64 bit?

Edit: Tested downloaded combined iso sizes:

1709 32 bit & 64 bit 7.07GB (7,598,768,128 bytes)
1803 32 bit & 64 bit 6.13GB (6,588,923,904 bytes)

Yes you are correct it 1GB smaller for combined iso.

No problem here with Spring Update. Was filled with dread with what might break, but as it turns out nothing did. In fact it's fixed a long running issue i've had with Display Calibration!

No new junk was installed. No Store apps etc. Reset Privacy options back to what they were in OOSU10. All Drivers still working fine. Couldn't be happier.

I see this has been pushed back due to a bug that was bad enough to delay the release, i havent used the iso from above method. Presume they will be able to patch existing installs soon, but this means the iso is not the final version yet.

17134.1 is the current RTM and has been rolling out to Insiders. Blocking Bug, whatever it was, is fixed. I was on 17133.1 without running into any issues though, and have upgraded to the latest using the .iso that has been made available. Still not encountering any issues. Or any improvements either, to be fair. Just has to be done at some point and i'd rather it be at my own convenience, rather than on a day when i really don't want to deal with it.

Just to say that my Surface Pro 3 was having trouble with Windows 10 update 1709, but I cleared some disk space (I think around 10GB free is needed), and it updated successfully yesterday.

I dread every time I fire up my GPD Pocket these days :( Windows update completely ruins the purpose of the device really but sadly doesn't support anything older than Windows 10 and my usage doesn't allow for using Ubuntu on there or running Windows 7 under a VM on Ubuntu :(

Is there a product.cab yet?

No there no new products.cab leaked yet and Microsoft still not released esd files yet so maybe 17134.1 is not RTM. I read someone post on MyDigitalLife forum that Microsoft could release it next week on 30 April accorded to sources. So who know?

When new 1803 or 1804 products.cab and esd files leaked then the news will be on tech sites and forums then I will know Microsoft official release April update to public.

Just saw this on neowin.net.

https://www.neowin.net/news/the-xbox-one-version-1804-is-rolling-out-today-to-everyone

Microsoft announced Xbox April Update released to public begin today, 1804 RTM is build 17133 accorded to buildfeed.net. It look like Microsoft will probably released Windows 10 April Update 1803 build 17133.1 to public in 1 hour or so.

Edit: Found Xbox April Update version is 10.0.17133.2019 (rs4_release_xbox_dev_1804.180409-1751).

Is it live now for download? :)

No, I found 2 latest news about Windows 10 April Update.

https://www.neowin.net/news/windows...-start-rolling-out-on-may-8-according-to-leak

Accorded to source claim Windows 10 1803 April Update will start rolling out on 8 May after MS Build 2018 keynote.

However Wzor found something very interesting on Microsoft Update Catalog:

Well look like 1803 is not RTM so 1804 10.0.17134.1004 will be RTM in line with Xbox April Update 1804.

10.0.17134.1 (rs4_release.180410-1804) are current latest build available to Windows Insiders on fast, slow and release preview rings. 10.0.17134.1000 (rs4_release_svc_analog.180412-1700) is latest build found on buildfeed.net so it will be a while Microsoft to release 1804 10.0.17134.1004 or higher to Windows Insiders possible sometime this week or next week before official rolling out after MS Build 2018 keynote.
