Hi guys I am stuck in what gpu to buy.
Going to be upgrading for a HD7950.
Is the 1060 or rx 580 worth it?

Don't mind buying second hand from the MM (been looking at 980ti but they sell quickly)
I may have an option to buy a r9 nano off a mate.
What do you guys recommend?

Gaming at 1080p for now but hopefully going 1440p eventually.
Specs
4770k @ 4.4ghz
8gb ddr3
Corsair hx650w psu

RX580 is the faster card.

I tend to buy second hand tbh, but just wanted to know what's best for my budget.
So 980ti >rx 580 > 1060 if I am reading it right.
What you guys think of that r9 nano? It's a slightly underclocked fury x?

thx chaps.
btw if i can get the r9 nano in my budget, is it better than the rx580?
No for two reasons

a) Needs to be watercooled
b) Ain't worth to side grade for the same money
c) if it was FuryX then yes by all means get it.

Have a look here, latest review with all latest drivers to the day of the review

I had a heavily overclocked Nano is great card, but second hand from unknown sources ain't worth.
The poor thing might have been at the mines for years and HBM ram while good, ain't for long term mining. They get damaged

Eh? I had one a long time ago and it was perfectly fine for 1050mhz on air..

Yes but to make it worthy choice over the RX580, especially the red devil dragon, needs to be watercooled

Looks like a 580 is the way to go.
