Utterly disgraceful what this nation is becoming. The people who implement these policies should tried for treason.

Just think 20-30 years from now while the whole world watches in awe the sight of a Chinese, Russian or Indian (male) Astronaut dump a flag into the surface of Mars, our politicians will be celebrating a 'person' taking a dump in our first gender neutral public toilets. And in that time the UK will more resemble a third country with decaying infrastructure and maybe then people will join the dots and see why we are no longer relevant in anything that matters.

What about the religious minorities where females wearing "men's attire" is forbidden (for some reason this includes trousers designed for women!).

EDIT: Though I think most of those have kind of given up on that now - I remember it was much more of a thing back in the 80-90s.

This is what happens when you cater to whining little pussies. I really wish some people would grow a pair and tell them to shut the **** up.

I don't see the problem? My girl's school has had the option for girls to wear trousers for years. She'd be a bit miffed in this heat but otherwise the rest of the year she's in trousers, shirt and tie.

Anyway, props to the PC brigade for further sexualising children. GG

It could be seen as a good idea if you see how girls start to dress once they start secondary school. Pressure from media, celebs and social media have a bigger impact on them than you may realise. Short skirts, tight tops, makeup and often ridiculous hair.

All that can become their focus rather than trying to learn and do well for themselves

I can assure you the female sex have been spending as much time and resources as they have trying to make themselves appear more attractive since day one. Girls doing their hair isn't a modern phenomenon.

But girls have done that since forever without a problem. Back when I was at school they used to hitch their skirts up so high you could see what they had for breakfast.

So, instead of levelling the field by allowing boys to wear shorts in hot weather, they've banned girls from wearing skirts.

How can you have any pudding if you don't eat you meat?!!

Not sure how that's an argument against this policy. Unless you're appealing to our tastes in schoolgirl attire? But that would just be weird.

And here's me thinking I was the last man standing. Thank you for restoring my faith in humanity.

Well, at least there's two of us left

Uhhh who exactly asked for this and who do people in this thread think they're catering to?

It sounds like someone trying to do something good and 'PC' but coming up with a solution that benefits no one.

Just daft.

Give them an option for wearing a skirt or trousers, then surely the gender neutral can wear whatever they like?

Funnily enough, forcing ALL studens to wear trousers is actually going backwards?
