Girls banned from Wearing Skirts in 40 schools who instead adopt Gender Neutral uniforms

I remember some years ago saying to a friend that the skirt was really a symbol of freedom, respect and restraint.

Now it is being allowed to be destroyed.
 
Boys wearing skirts just would not be tolerated,
I think it's right. I in these times of equality, why should boys have to be the ones to suffer sweaty bits while the girls get air up around the tooshi :). Make 'em all get sweaty bits.
Should be the same in offices too.. Last week, lots of lovelies wearing thin skirts and other bright colourful thin articles of clothing while us guys all fully suited and booted in dark colours to absorb the heat with a stupid colourful rope thing around our necks ensuring the heat stays trapped inside the shirt.

Yes treason because these clowns are bringing about the nations downfall. The purpose of an education system is to educate people and produce captains of industry, science and technology, not to make statements in political correctness.
 
Girls should be allowed to wear trousers if they want but it ought to be out of choice - likewise if boys want to take the skirt option then they should be able to go for it... that would be a better gender neutral policy, keep the existing uniforms and give a free choice within the uniform constraints with no discrimination on the basis of gender.

I agree. Only real men are brave enough to wear a skirt. :)
 
Oh look, how very progressive. Next up the workplace and society in general....

Women will of course be free to wear modest clothing like Burquas because it's liberating to be able to wear what you want but not skirts because that's offensive to 0.1% of the population and posters showing attractive women in bikinis must be banned, oh and you can't have a job being a walk on girl at a public event either, oh and no more beauty contests. Have I missed any of the lefts progressive policies which are actually attacking womens liberation at every turn?
 
I do find it hard to comprehend how a school can allow someone to chose their gender but not their lower garments.

And how does the change to the uniform policy interfere with that? Are you suggesting that now girls can't wear skirts they are somehow prevented from learning? Do you believe that a girl can only learn whilst wearing a skirt?

I don't believe you're even close to countering what he actually said. Also by that logic the school could impose any dress code it liked and still pass your test.

This whole pan-institution attempt to legitimise being "gender-fluid" is beyond ridiculous now.

Please feel free to express your individuality as long as you wear exactly what we tell you to.

And i agree about offices, i mean what is the point of suits? In a closed office it would make the most sense to let people wear what they felt comfortable in and enjoy the productivity boost of people who's focus is on their work not how damn warm their suit is.
