FIFA World Cup 2018 - Round of 16 [30th June, 1/2/3 July] **spoilers**

I'm going to put a bet on a Columbia win as England don't really have a chance. I think the Sweds will beat the switz too.

If England score first tonight in normal time, we have a decent chance, if we don't I expect Colombia to competently close up shop... Or beat us on penalties! ;)

Swiss / England double for me. Can't see Sweden offering much, Columbia however have a fighting chance. Lots of pace like ourselves, hopefully we come out to play/attack and get an early goal.

So, Manchester City & Chelsea & Totenham & Manchester United 3 vs Japan 2.

Kevin de Bryune has succeeded to clinch this precious win.

Much fairer and interesting to watch Belgium vs Brasil than Japan vs Brasil (Japan have no chances against Brasil).

After the losses of Italy, Holland, Argentina, Spain, Portugal, Germany, that would have been simply too much.

Belgium are basically the england side LOL

There was an article on the BBC about how women were "swooning" over one of the football teams in the world cup who had a team photo in suits. The twitter embeds were basically women perving over them and making comments that would be considered massively sexist if it were the other way around. Fast forward a few weeks and the BBC is running articles about how female fans are objectified. They are making a big deal about some super happy football fans running in and kissing reporters on the cheeks as well. Its pretty sad when that is considered sexual assault.

This x100.

They were the better team and robbed. The first Belgium goal was undeserved.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching Japan play and think they should have won. The skill that they have to come up with to compensate for a lack of physicality is commendable.

After that lucky goal they fell apart. They were bossing the game for the first 70 minutes. I guess the last 20 minutes is where your 250 million of Debruyne, Lukaku and Hazard come to play. Japan knew they wouldn't last till penalties so went all out and it cost them in the end as they were knackered.

As for ourselves a lot of our players have had nearly two weeks off. Hope they are up for it. I think it was a mistake resting our players as they are used to playing 3 games in a week in club football. World cup isn't as taxing as that! Arguably we have lost momentum now. We have to get a convincing win tonight and if we do I see no reason why we cannot go far.

What's sad about it? It's never okay to forcibly kiss someone, doing it while they're doing their job and it's being broadcast live to millions of people is pretty humiliating. It happened to a Brazilian (maybe south american) reporter and she handled it pretty well.

Your example isn't really comparable to camera men picking out good looking women in the crowd. I wouldn't call it objectification but it does get borderline creepy when it's the same few girls the camera cuts to, just waiting to see them react.
