Given that I'm in the "target" age range, I find this quite interesting. Purely on an anecdotal level, several (30-40) guys in my social circle just show no interest in having kids or taking a chance on getting married and settled now because they see it as too much disruption to their lifestyle or simply too much of a financial commitment or risk of becoming a weekend dad.

Disclaimer: I'm probably not the greatest commentator given that I'm quite likely broken after several failed relationships, a few of which involved quite obvious baby-trapping tactics and pregnancy scares. However, I do think that this might be indicative of a tipping point where more guys are just not prepared to take the risk given the way the legal system is stacked against them.

My brother is currently spending a lot of money trying to get access to his kid and failing because the balance always tips the other way, no matter what he does. The mother is a complete wrong'un but never seems to get pulled up on her abusive, drug-induced behaviour. Still paying maintenance with no access, WTF.

So what gives, are we going to end up with more single mothers as a result of women going to sperm donor clinics while us fellas binge on Netflix, eat wotsits and play WoW/masturbate to animé in our man-caves or what?

They take your kid and your money, and they know it from the minute they meet you. Best you can do is understand the situation and protect yourself. I.e. never get married or have kids.

The long term solution is to fix the bias in family court.
But first we have to defeat Feminism.
But first we have to shut down Twitter.
 
I guess there is a financial aspect to it - not an issue for chavs, they just breed like rabbits anyway... but for normal people they often want to have bought a home etc.. and people are often renting in flat shares etc.. for far longer.

there are also social aspects, people do seem to be doing things in their 30s that perhaps they'd not have been so likely to do a generation ago - like going on an adult gap year etc..

I also think some of the 4chan/reddit stuff about chads, roasties and how they eventually settle for "beta bux" when they hit the wall etc.. perhaps has some degree of truth to it
 
High male parental investment is only prevalent among species where it’s necessary for the children’s survival.

Enter the welfare state and easy divorce and this is the result.

When I go on dating sites, half of the women are single mothers, if the man looked after the baby and got more favorable divorce arrangements maybe the wage gap between men and women wouldn't be as big.

It's like we are allowing women to keep the kids all the time and then wondering why they don't have as good jobs.
 
Men are avoiding commitment due to unstable women.

Less and less western men are interested in having kids. Too risky, too expensive (for the man), why throw away your freedom?

Its not us the men its the women that are causing all the problems.

They expect so much and give so little in response.

Saying that women have never been the brightest button on the shirt so to say, and am not being misogynistic.

According to the media. You always hear the worst. You never hear of those who are living the normal family life.

After all, it's a newspaper article.

The hard part is finding a women who feels the same. Many say they do, then "change their mind" later on when they see all their friends laying little brats.

I rhink part of the problem is that women wet promises the could have it all, single life, family career etc basicaly "everything men have had for years" and that's no bad thing. But the reaction from men wasnt to assume the role women usualy played but to be perfectly fine with this and go along with it.

But now women are realising theyr e in the position a lot of career men and single guys find themselves 30-40 not partnered up considered a bit damaged goods by thier own circles and so left alone for anything but casual fun .

The only problem being they can't do what men in that situation have done in the past which is go find a young woman at the start of her life who isn't into that and scoop her up into thier already well established life.

Because there aren't many men in thier early 20s looking to settle down with a woman in thier 30s to 40s.
 
More men are wise to being sucked in by parasitic women just desperate for a house and kids because there friends all have them. It’s a win win for them if the relationship doesn’t last they get the house and a monthly allowance to spend aswell as the children and the man ends up with nothing. I’ve seen so many women over the years through friends or in work just stay in pointless relationships just because there man has a well paid job or until they get pregnant then hey presto off they go making out he’s the worst person ever and they had to leave him etc. Only once they’ve got what they wanted.
As I say more men in this day and age think screw that it’s my money I’m not risking losing everything.
With all these femiNazi’s wanting equal rights etc why haven’t they done away with the woman being able to bleed there ex husband dry and get everything he has paid for :confused: it just seems so Victorian to still have that in the current equal modern world we live in.
