Sure thing,it will only be for the day but could meet up early and get some good spots.
I'm only a hour away by train :)

This is always repeated and I get it you can't help who you're attracted to but watching some CSI last night and they had a pedophile in (little girl was missing in his area so naturally they drag him in for questioning) and Catherine Willows started ranting at him for choosing to like little girls and boys which brings me back to my original point if you can't help who you fancy then why is it a pedophile's fault for fancying children (and I do get the legal and moral aspects of having sex with kids of 12 and younger)?

Can we have just one thread about homosexuality without somone comparing us to paedophiles?

Just one....

People should be allowed to show affection for someone they love in public. Nobody should feel ashamed for doing so.

Isn't the feeling of shame are manifested internally? Homophobes are not magically implanting shame into homosexuals, or are they?

For example. I am fully content with my sexuality, any attacks on my sexuality will be met with laughter lol. If someone makes fun of me for being a heterosexual or holding hands with my GF, I will be impervious to any fun being made because I am fully content with my sexuality and I know that anyone taking the mick is just wrong and stupid and I will happily walk merrily on my way without any offence taken.

But why do homosexuals actually feel so much shame in what they're doing? I mean if a homosexual knew that there's nothing wrong with being homosexual then why would any homosexual ever feel shame?

Btw I feel the need to disclaim that I am not homophobic, I'm actually a huge fan of female-female homosexuality, I am just trying to understand why homosexuals feel shame.

Always happens... I had a reply for that post but decided not to post it.

Ashamed was the wrong word. Lets go with scared. Because frankly at times, that's how I feel.

Wait when you whete phsycoanalysing all those Muslim men you never once came across one with problems rooted in the way they were raised and told how to behave?

Of course you would laugh off anyone trying to make fun of you for having a gf because having a gf is perfectly normal.

But it's differnt for people who've grown up being told that being gay is wrong, or evil or dirty and then seen thier loved ones (who don't know they're gay)constantly run down out homosexuals or call them names or say it's disgusting etc

Few decades of that from your family and much of society is going to mess with your head.

You may as well ask why do we feel shame at all? It's purely related to society around us, many find being naked shameful or being naked around the oposite sex.

Why? Because people say it is.

People find talking about sex or buying sex toys shameful.

Why? Because the perception is you should be ashamed.

No man is an island as the saying goes.

I vote Stockhausen for the most most missused quote of the year award.

Did you litteraly just Google "pride quotes"?

Also same proverb

He who belittles his neighbor lacks sense,

:p

And where did I compare you to paedophiles, I was just saying if people say homosexuality isn't a choice then surely anything else sexual isn't a choice, it was that I was just watching a CSI episode with a paedophile in it, a couple of episodes later and it's a Dominatrix (Lady Heather is her name) and people are having wax dripped on them and being 'gimped' up, surely that's a choice right?
