It's just for a basic but half decent office PC for an employee. Don't want to spend more than I need to. (Don't need a HDD as everything is stored on the server) and don't need monitor or peripherals. Thanks for checking.

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £270.95 (includes shipping: £0.00)

word, excel. the usual office stuff.
save yourself some dosh and get a 2c4t build. ryzen APU is wasted in this scenario.

SFF MATX case, and a SATA M.2 drive for tidy internals.
(CPU currently OOS at ocuk)
My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £311.44 (includes shipping: £16.62)

^^ I'd also have thought a more basic build would be more appropriate just for office tasks like Word and Excel, but I'd cut another £25 off the cost and go with this SSD (£25.99) instead of the M2 drive. If it's only for Office applications, you're not going to need much space if the files themselves are on the server.

haha, i did actually consider whether 120gb would be sufficient. but @beany_bot specced a 240gb drive, so maybe there's other programs taking up space?
also ssds don't like to be run at capacity, so technically best case scenario would be using only 80-90gb of that 120gb ssd

:) Yeah, I think it will be plenty unless, as you say, there are some other, larger, programs the OP hasn't mentioned.

I have a 120GB OS drive, with Office on it and also a slew of other general use programs (Adobe, File Sync, Evernote, JDownloader, HWinfo, Dropbox, Drive, Afterburner, Chrome, Explorer AND Edge, etc.), plus game platforms (Steam, GoG, Origin, uPlay, Epic)

I also have a 7.5GB work folder on there.

Total use is under 65GB.
