Can I take protein powder in hold when I fly?

You shouldnt anyway as it's food, unless you purchased it after bag check

You can take food on most flights so long as it’s not a restricted item in the country you’re travelling too, even then you can either take the risk getting it through customs or declare it in which case it will be confiscated

You can take >100ml liquid in your checked luggage as well, I’ve taken a friend in Australia cans of soup a few times as he can’t buy the stuff he likes there

Yes. Used to take mine with me when doing month stints whilst in China and Borneo. Never had any issues myself.

I hope you aren't fretting about hitting protein macros while on holiday ffs, and if you are then you better be competing or earning money from your physique in some way

Some people have a physique they like to maintain and have no interest in pigging out just because they’re on holiday

Who are we to judge , it’s their body and their life

Going a week without protein supplements isn't going to harm their artificial physique as long as they don't pig out on junk

I wouldn’t describe it as artificial, it still requires hard work , it’s not like drinking the protein shakes alone will make you ripped

In any case going a week without keeping up the regiment of shakes and workouts can see losses , making some of the work they’ve done a waste of time ,, or at least according to a colleague who is looking to compete

Like I said who are we to judge , if people want to keep up with a lifestyle then why should they let a holiday affect that if there’s no reason to?

Because a holiday is generally to let loose and relax and not stick doing to the same thing you do every single day when not on holiday :)

The workouts are more important than the shakes tbh a week without working out will hurt way more than a week without shakes, I'd be more concerned about finding a suitable Gym where I'm going than if I can take my dudebro powder with me

For me and you maybe, but a lot of people who train like to stick to their regime at all times, even if it’s just to keep their mind focussed on their goals

Without the right diet a week can see losses, going to the gym without keeping up that diet will see losses, some people I know are so tedious when it comes to their food intake with the macros, etc. It’s not for me but I can understand.

It doesn’t affect anyone but themselves so let them get on with it if it makes them happy

You know there's other reasons for flying than just going on holiday?

Maybe he works offshore and is going to be living on an oil rig for 3 months?
