Ten most valuable things you own

I’d say...........

1. House
2. Car
3. Her engagement ring
4. Gaming Laptop
5. Gaming Desktop
6. TV
7. Our wedding rings
8. iPhone
9. Xbox
10. Headset

1. Panzer Dragoon Saga
2. Enemy Zero
3. Burning Rangers
4. Shining Force 3
5. Guardian Heroes
6. Dragon Force
7. Deep Fear
9. X-Men Vs. StreetFighter
10. Marvel Super Heroes

1. Business
2. House
3. Liquid Assets
4. Car
5. Car
6. Gold
7. PC
8. TV

After that most things fall in line with each other, or cost a lot to purchase but aren't "valuable", ie furniture, clothes, etc. Think most people have forgotten about liquid assets as well, that or they have a terrifying low account balance and no investments.

Do the people who don't have a house on the list but instead have lots of relatively high value tech on there ever intend on having a house on the list?

Genuine question not a dig, I'm wondering whether there are people who never intend on owning a house and therefore spend more on other possessions.

My odds are on location:London (or south of Midlands :p)

Im getting like this. I certainly dont need any more possessions. But for me it makes me less keen to aquire more 'money'.
Obviously need to buy a house but apart from that (and retirement) dont really need to stress.
But this means I don't really push in career. But thats probably because I don't love what I do.

Yeah, I'm close to paying off my mortgage which ties in with just wanting a modest, stress-free existence.

I could quite easily go and buy a silly sports car tomorrow but I just don't feel the need. I'm happy spending time with friends and family and doing my own thing in all honesty. I found a few years back I suddenly went from being impulsive to sleeping on the idea new purchases for a few nights. 95% of the time now, I just end up not buying stuff. :)

Most cash these days goes into Pension and medium-term investments so I forget about it and manage to live on a pittance. It's amazing how many nice things you can do for virtually no money, or for very little after initial outlay these days. :p

In this weather what really makes me happy is finding a river and going for a Swim. If its Colder.. I take my kayak out.

I could get a new car on lease. But wouldn't be as fun as my s2k. A new TV wont change anything.

Its a bit strange being content with what you have when spending is encouraged everywhere

For many it’s their wives/girlfriends spending habits they have to keep up with.

I’ve forgotten the statistic but in the US they drive something like 70-80% of all consumer spending.

What's the point in having a large pension if you'll be mortgage free and you already live on a pittance?

Richest person in the graveyard?

Note: I'm not against putting into a pension.
