If you're a tractor driver you do whatever you damn well please.

Roadworthy trailers? Pah.
Secure loads? Forget it.
Number plates? Lol.
Use the phone? Knock yourself out.
Passenger not in a seat? Brilliant.

I have no issues with tractors on main roads. But I usually find them on the A1 in the rush hour on a Monday morning causing utter chaos.

THis where the USA has it right - minimum speed limits (and turn right on a red)

eg
Florida's minimum speed limit on Interstate Highways is 50 mph (80 km/h) in 70 mph zones. In 55 mph, and 65 mph urban interstate zones, the minimum is 40 mph (64 km/h). At one time, these minimum speeds required signage, but these limits have since been codified in state law; signs indicating these minimum speeds still exist, but now simply serve as a reminder.[47] Urban freeways with speed limits of 50 mph typically do not have minimum speed limits, such as on I-375 in St. Petersburg. Additionally, the new Gandy Freeway in St Petersburg has a speed limit as low as 45 mph (72 km/h).

They really do need to introduce some sort of ban to stop them going on roads during rush hour, or where the NSL is 60+.

Tractors a regular occurance on the A55. Causes some interesting last minute manoeuvres
Seen many incidents like this on the A55 especially tbh though the vast majority are purely down to drivers not reading the road ahead and reacting way too late.

They really don't. People like you need to learn to respect other road users.
Exactly this

I have a yard on a farm, I cannot tell you how busy they all are, all of the time. Sorting crops, Sorting livestock all to sell so we consumers can eat or whatever.

Banning things like horse riding at rush hour might be a idea

Again it is down to drivers not paying attention to the road ahead and driving so close to the vehicle in front they can't see the road ahead.

Start by addressing the school run & caravans... I'm not sure i've ever seen a horse on a road during rush hour!

Yes farm vehicles, slow running trucks etc on the road when you've got to get places is annoying but honestly these guys have probably been up for 4 hours already and are putting food on your plate.

We get so many of them on the A55 over Anglesey, luckily it's a very quiet road for a NSL dual carriageway so with even a tiny bit of attention paid to the road it's not an issue but even so it's amazing how many people seem to be caught out by a wild tractor appearing in front of them with no notice, especially all the Irish tourists from the ferries.

As annoying as it can be tractors do need to get places.

Lol yes. Its one extreme or the other there isn't it. Either people realise that changing lane when you're finally down to the Audi separation gap might be a good idea if you want to get past, OR everyone is in the right hand lane for 15 miles because they caught a glimpse of the tractor in the distance and don't want to get stuck behind it.

That is illegal as he should have a flashing beacon that is visible from all directions when on a dual carriageway.
