Clock changes: EU backs ending daylight saving

Kids walking to school in pitch darkness, what's not to like?

Why is that a problem? It was still dark when we used to cycle to school, and nothing happened. Well, I say nothing but I do remember my mate Sean ending up in the freezing canal once, but he did say something like "Now watch this" first.

I'm not a fan of changing clocks and throwing people's body clocks out, it is actually very bad for human health. Hopefully if this is successful our government will adopt the same changes.

Seems like a good idea, changing the clocks is pointless. Would prefer BST to GMT though for the light nights, but there is something cool about GMT though like it is the correct time.

Yes it's one hour. Humans are very sensitive to changes to their body clock and disruption can have a lot of long term health consequences that we're only beginning to understand.

It's an hour twice a year. Most people travel abroad and back several times a year, lot of them to places with bigger time difference.

I work flexi-time so just change my hours lol

Kids have an SUV to take them a mile up the road to school now, driven by someone who can't see over the steering wheel or park properly. Progress.

Your older than changing the clocks?

its twice a year not daily.

naturally your body clock would change with the light anyway, its unnatural to wake up at an arbitrary fixed time, rather than say sunrise.
