Despite what the media what you to believe, lions are a mans best friend. This can only be another part of their hidden agenda to decieve the general public. Hopefully after brexit and we have left the EU we can take all our lions back. I just hope we will have some laws regarding lion poo on the streets.

So....the next time you visit a zoo just hop over the fence and have a cuddle.

There's no difference between a dog licking your face and a lions.
If it's anything like when my cat licks my nose, it's cute and tickles for a second or 2, then gets really sore as their tongues are like 40 grit sandpaper.

I'd love to have a big cat as a pet, but nothing too large. My rule is never keep a pet you can't take in a fight.

Cats can have funny turns. A domestic cat having one won't kill you, a lion having one easily could.
Also sometimes if you touch a cat somewhere it doesn't like or expect it may claw you away, you don't want to be clawed by a lion.

All it takes is a 2 sec strike from their claws and your gone. Personally I'd run a mile in under 4 mins.

for anyone in this predicament, I think the advice is to lay still on the floor. Running only makes them chase you like prey, and I'm sure they can run a lot faster than we can.

I have two quite large, not fat (6kg) domestic cats. I wouldn't want them to be twice that size. I'd be in danger of losing fingers. Never mind nearly 200kg. You'd stand no chance.

In the case pf bears, scream as loud as you can, wave your arms around and try to look big. It's such an unusual behaviour it can spook them. Meanwhile I'll be disappearing in the distance.
Isn't this the rule for one type of bear and the other is to play dead. Or is this all just a myth?

Also stand and bang is the only real advice. A little bop to the nose of any angry beast will send him quivering to his mother.
