Two 15-year-old boys have been arrested on suspicion of planning to carry out far-right terrorism offences in Kent.

Police said the pair, both from Ramsgate, were arrested at their home addresses on suspicion of preparing for terrorist acts.

Both of the teenagers are being questioned at a police station in the South East.

The South East Counter Terrorism Unit has confirmed the alleged offences involved far-right ideology.

Det Supt Nigel Doak said: "We treat the threat from the extreme right in exactly the same way as any other threat."

No real details, but that is ridiculously young! Sadly I imagine we will hear about more and more of these types of events in future. The internet is a breeding ground for this sort of thing, and really it's not massively different from radicalised Islamist terror.

The thing is though at 15 do you really have the cognitive capacity to actually commit a sizeable terrorist attack on your own? or was this just two boys being dumb 15 year olds saying some racist nonsense and yeah we should fight back at them! kind of thing....

Between 13 and 15, we planned out and drew up small unit tactical operations in our local areas, for fun. I also could have gotten my hands on large calibre weapons and some pretty notable explosives. All it'd have taken is the right bully or a really bad day at school...

But in all honesty, I suspect the kids were under guidance.
