Hi there

To celebrate the launch of the TUF Alliance Gaming memory from TeamGroup they are supporting some pretty crazy pre-order prices, especially when you consider this is 3000MHz, 3200MHz and 3600MHz kits, in fact this pricing makes them cheaper than nasty budget value no heatspreader 2133MHz and 2400MHz junk, as 8 Pack would say. :D

Hence why its a pre-order deal only as TeamGroup are rebating us for any pre-sales at the discounted pricing.

Though it is a collaboration between Asus TUF & TeamGroup, this memory using higher quality IC than your regular stuff, so it will actually work in all motherboards, chipsets from both Intel and AMD, it is just not limited to those with Asus mainboards. :)

Before anyone ask there shall be no 8Gb kits available, these are available only in 16Gb and 32Gb kits and for now OcUK only plans to stock 16Gb kits, so don't ask for 32GB kits unless you can buy an minimum order quantity of 50 kits. ;)

Then as a real treat we have TeamGroups LEGEND RGB, this is special because it is very high-end IC with very tight latency timings of 14-14-14-31.

tempted by the TeamGroups LEGEND RGB but not to keen on the RGB any chance you doing the equivalent by 8 Pack (TDPGD416G3200HC14ADC01) for the same price Gibbo

Hey gibbo, I noticed a price drop on the Gigabyte stuff. I’m a bit of a Corsair fanboy but this deal looks great. Is it good stuff?

I would not spend my own money on Corsair memory, except maybe specially binned Dominator but those Gigabyte kits would happily make me open my wallet.

Your getting Samsung B die way below market price and your also getting some of best RGB looking memory there is and you also get two dummy modules which no other manufacturer offers.

Gigabyte have nailed it and OcUK is the cheapest and we give the best service. :)

Why do people even buy Corsair RAM anymore, when there are plenty of lower-binned B-die (which is still much better than your typical hynix) for the same price or cheaper

To be fair I’ve used Corsair for over 15yrs and had one stick fail. When I say fanboy it’s more to do with the pleasant experience I’ve had.

Fair enough, we used to build systems using Corsair, but we now build with mainly TeamGroup for past five years and have had no reliability issues. :)

Corsair used to be good mem years and years ago Gibbo, as you are fully aware. In fact Corsair became the "Not Memory" to go to a lot lot longer then five years ago :)

Is it to early to tell & / or purchase memory for my i7 9900k build yet considering I don't even know what z390 mb I will be buying??
If its possible to tell then what bundle would be best suited,, bearing in mind I would be looking to overclocked the cpu
