I get it, the guy who sent the letter can be construed as being a little forthcoming and distasteful. I'm just sick of this kind of thing making the news. I know I can't be the only bloke 'there I said it!' tired of this miss aligned misogyny.

Please set me straight if Im being too sensitive!

Wonder if I can my fizog on the news because the woman in the oatcake shop told me to "cheer up duck, it might never happen" the other day? I'm a straight white male though, so probably not.

I do take a dislike to the 'cheer up, it might never happen' line though. Even the first time I heard it at say 8 I thought it was a boring unimaginative thing to say.

WOMEN SHOULD BE PLEASED TO HAVE MY ATTENTION! !!!!:mad::mad:

Please g*d tell me this is sarcasm? I ask, becuase for a lot of men this is actually their attitude. And every women out there will tell you of the reaction of some men when rebuffed, which ranges from insults (ironically, "whore" seems to be a favourite), to actual violence. This thread is going to be the usual one: a load of people who don't belong to particular group saying that they understand the trials of that group better than the people who do. Seriously, if you actually have a girlfriend/wife, see what they think.

I concede I haven’t watched the video but passing notes to strangers on a train is a bit weird and I can see why some people would be uncomfortable with it (i.e. “has this person been watching me...?!”)

Seen this several times myself at checkouts a man or woman saying "let's see a smile" or "where's your smile?".

If they don't smile its clear they are having a bad day. If they do well the little burst of endorphins wont do them any harm

This woman...

Photos of herself all over the internet. Selfies infact "look at me look at me look at me"

Someone looks at her "omg stop looking at me!"

I would rather people smile a genuine smile, to do otherwise lacks authenticity. One ends up looking like professor Brian Cox.
