Obviously the sky is going to fall and the oceans boil 0.01 second after we leave, so we're doomed anyway.

Are 7 and 10 year mortgages getting much uptake in the UK? Don't those extensive lengths go against most or even arguably all likely identifiers?

Dont we import a shed load, any delays will see supermarkets(temporarily hopefully) empty fairly quickly.

My point being that if the SHTF on Brexit day I can go out and stock up as there will still be plenty on the shelves.

BTW I'm a Remainer and didn't vote for this Brexit nonsense.

i'm just suggesting the argument that "we don't know what's going to happen, so do nothing" isn't actually all that sound - tightening your coin purse is a good idea whether everything passes off without a hitch or not.

you voting remain is redundant.

I'm not saying everything is going to grind to a halt. I'm saying you don't know that it won't.

Whilst I don't believe Brexit will trigger 'end of days' scenarios, I think you would be surpised how quickly supermarkets can actually sell out of stuff, all it takes is a few people to panic buy and it snowballs.
