Gibbo - Drop the Gigabyte 1080ti to £579 again

Genuinely gutted , couldn’t log into the shop , wrong password ( I never changed it when OCUK generated one ) ages ago . Searched my email for password couldn’t find it .Once I reset my password I was locked out . Waited five minutes , logged out then the price went up by the time I got back to my iPad. Didn’t realise I only had an hour window :(

aye common sense would dictate one would attempt other means of contact if you couldn't sort it out online - unless of course maybe the op was going to use amazonpay/paypal.........i know i should never mock but really is one of the most epic fails. begs for a specific deal, gets it, then misses out....that's gotta be a sickener! i'd need a new monitor if that happened! :p

How come prices are rocketing back up again this time? To help make the RTX2080 look a better price? More profit to be made by raising the GTX1080ti to the next silly level than reduce the RTX2080 to a more sensible one :) Dam MSI card was £599 only 6 weeks ago or so & now £750. Is Brexit to blame? Guy Fawkes? The stars? Deary me.

Though i notice u can still buy sub £600 GTX1080ti if you look around.

At this rate even on Black Friday all these cards will cost more than launch. Banks will soon offer secured loans to buy computers. Too much of a risk for it to be unsecured.

LMAO - Easy gets what he wanted and then makes some lame ass excuse lol. :D

Ohhh well, I guess he will be back to moaning about the RTX prices soon enough :D :D

We can't find any more, simple as that so would be poor business sense to continue only making 5-10% on a product that is near impossible now to source that still has huge demand, simple as that.
2080's are as low as we can get them at current prices, were very aggressive simply because the sales are not so great, but we can't lower those any more unless NVIDIA intervene with a price drop, but 2080 supply though better than 2080Ti is not exactly readily available still many models out of stock.

I did warn you all £579 was the lowest, I did say they would likely go up. If you choose not to listen, don't moan at me, the deal was obviously incredible and it was at those prices for nearly a week, the price was so good we sold nearly 1000 units in just a week with a lot going to other countries which says a lot when people abroad are ordering from us.

As the stocks get slimmer and slimmer the prices will go north, all I will say is I know there is a lot of Zotac 1080Ti Mini still out there, I am sure a competitor with those might get them to under £600, but unlikely to see a nice triple fan OC card sub £600 ever again now.

It is quite easy and clear to see 1080Ti is nearly sold out everywhere just by looking at competitors, most are down to listing under 10 different models and generally with little to no stock, they will all be gone soon at which point you will either miss out or have to buy an RTX card, or keep your money in your wallet. :)
