Poll: Voting Intention [All Time]

Who would you vote for if a General Election was held today?

  • Total voters
    253
  • Poll closed .
Whoever is most likely to beat conservative, which here would be labour. (its bullcrap tactical voting politics, but what else can I do...)

For local councillor it would be green, as one of four councillors is green and has been for years. They (the greens) have done great things for the town ever since getting in. Way more than the 3 remaining cons, who were in the process of running down the local outdoor swimming pool and town hall in order to sell off to their buddies. The green guy uncovered this, stopped it and started running them properly, funnily enough they have always been in profit ever since... they also got a second rail line in for easy hourly transport into london and did the train station up which had been really bad for years.

Are you going to keep doing this monthly?

^ this.

What are you hoping to achieve other than incessant bickering between all the usual suspects who know everything better than everyone else and whose opinion is correct and will keep repeating it until either a) everyone agrees with them goddammit or b) toys are thrown?

To see how voting changes as the next few months I think big things are going to happen with Brexit.

You are very welcome not to vote if you don't like it.

But why though? Why do you care what others are voting? I'm not being facetious here, I'm genuinely curious as to what you're aiming for. Personally I couldn't give a monkey's what other people do with their votes so I'm wondering why you do.

Personally I've given up on politics. I've got my head in the sand and wince whenever brexit is mentioned.

None of the parties sufficiently align with my thoughts on policy or priorities so until the next election I'm not going to pay it any further attention.

You forgot c) keep repeating it until everyone who disagrees with them gives up debating because it’s a futile waste of time.

Unfortunately, they then believe they’ve won the argument…

Don't think I'm going to bother anymore. They're all spineless yes men/women.
Not going to waste my time voting if none of them offer anything I want.

And so dies democracy or rather democracy is ultimately a sham without an actual option to vote that it isn't working (not just spoilt ballot, etc. but an actual selectable option).

DVP
if no candidate (and I don't stand myself for DVP) then UKIP

The 2 main Parties are just different sides of the same coin. They are both puppets of Big Corporations in which they themselves have vested interests.
Blow them both away !

Tories and UKIP - too right wing
Labour - too left wing
Lib Dems - centre ground but have gone into oblivion

In 1992, Altern8 stood as a candidate for the Stafford constituency in the General Election representing the Hardcore (Altern8-ive) party. Altern8 received 158 votes and finished in fourth place.

Altern8 - representing the ravers across the nation. Sod Brexit. Sod the Criminal Justice Bill (that made raves illegal). Make raves legal again. Vote Altern8!
