It's no different from anyone else, the note 9 can be had for sub £700 now from john Lewis.

Always people who will bite on day one. Most people know that risk especially with Google releasing so close to black Friday and the festive season .

I could only really get mine via ee upgrade as my contract was not up until Jan . So was bent over anyway
 
Anyone that had a Mate 20 Pro that had changed to 3XL? Have a 2 XL which was great. After using the Mate 20 pro the screen seems awful.

Just logged into Google one and got a 25% code, bringing the 3XL 128GB down to £728.

Personally so far I'm impressed with the Mate 20 pro, the finger print sensor is a bit temperamental and I see a tiny bit of greening on the curve but not as much as people have mentioned and it's only on the actual curve when held at a certain angle.

The main reason I'm tempted by the 3XL would be the camera and the updates, only just got November update on the Mate 20 pro. The camera is good but not quite as good as the Pixel 2xl.

Yeah I have the Pixel 3 not the XL and the screen is a good one. It's has better sRGB calibration over the Mate 20 Pro that I returned.

Ive yet to test sunlight legibility but other than that I have no issues with the screen. The uniformaty of the 4 separate Mate 20 Pro handsets I had was awful. One of the reasons I gave it back.
 
For anyone in/nearby London I would advise going to the Curiosity Rooms on Piccadilly Circus and getting one via the Currys/PC World popup they have. You get

Got the Home myself, so all in all a good haul

Also this screen protector has eventually rainbowed. Anyone got one that doesn't I have to use one.
 
For reference, I got my full refund on the Pixel 3 XL this week. I wont lie, when I had a software bug with the Mate 20 Pro update yesterday, suggesting I might need to factory reset, I nearly ordered another 3 XL with the 20% code!
 
The T&Cs for the Google store promotion are a bit bizarre. You've essentially got a window in March 2019 to spend the £75 credit then it expires?
