I would really like to visit the overclockers shop in stoke on trent.

Problem is I dont drive and am totaly dependant on train and bus for transport.

I would be travelling from bangor ..north wales by train.

Whats the best plan of action?

thanks

Thats a 5-6 hour round trip.

Why do you want to visit the shop? It's all online.

And how have you never heard of Uber? We don't have it here but I know what it is.

i.lad i.know drove there .... managed to get help with ordering £4,000 worth of components and they built it for him. He got an amazing price to performance compared to what they were advertising for the same price as a pre built pc. also i want to try the htc vive and im interested in seeing the shop

I think you'll be disappointed.

Train to Longport or Stoke via a change at Crewe.

You'll then want to get a taxi if you're buying something and wanting to carry it back. Although if not bring your bike to cycle the 15mins odd from Longport.

Bus isn't an option I imagine as they'll want you to go in to then out of Newcastle.

That is my help done for another year.

I've been to OCUK 100's of times over the years, calling the shop staff unhelpful is simply untrue, particularly in recent years.
I agree. I've never used their help but seen them help others whilst I wait. They seem a good bunch. The bloke with red hair has been there since their first offices I think and is great. I think they've moved 3 times... At least I've been to 3 different shops.

Same, customers asking questions always get helpful answers irrespective of how little the customer knows and how painful it must be to help some of them.

How long have you been waiting?!

:p

Honestly the store isn't that great, there is a handful of things to look at but it's definitely not worth travelling from Wales for.

I wouldn't describe it as a 'store', more sort of a showroom and trade counter.

100% this. Good for a mooch round if you have actually ordered something or buying something and you're just picking it up.

Not worth a trip just to look round the shop, especially all the way from Wales.
