People was saying on here no 7nm VEGA GPU for gaming from AMD ? LOL what was I saying! VEGA before Navi !!

This isn't exactly a good thing.

Depending on price etc I could potentially buy, but doesn't it mean navi is 2020, which means it's not competing with the current Nvidia stuff, but their future products.

I'd love to see a cheaper (~£500-£550) version with the same GPU and 8gb VRAM. It seems an odd choice to offer 16gb when HBM2 is so expensive.

Not really. AdoredTV leaks suggested it was Vega64+15%. Navi could still exist as a polaris replacement this year.
