Can a poor OC cause a watchdog_violation BSOD?

I have been getting lots of watchdog reset latley I think it's down to a windows update.

When I remove my OC the reset do stop.

A watchdog reset normally means something as stopped responding

It was definitely my OC, no two ways about it. Hasn't happened since I got it dialed in.
