How do you eat your classic Magnum

So tonight around a mates house we broken open a box of magnums.

The result was looks of horror and awe as each person ate it in a different way no with consensus on which was the right way.

So GD. What way do you eat your Magnum.


1) While the chocolate is still cold and brittle, carefully eat all the chocolate while leaving the ice cream. Once all the chocolate is eaten, proceed to eat the ice cream.

2) Bite into it and eat the chocolate and ice cream at the same time.

3) Suck / lick the magnum like a tiptop/jubbly

4) Wait until it warms up and eat it in a bowl with a spoon (yes, really....)

5) Other... explain in your post.

I insert it nice and slowly, lick around the edges, in and out, in and out, suck a little bit but not too hard, you don't want to damage it. Nice and slow, the slower it is the more the Magnum enjoys it.

For a start it should be a Magnum White. Now, while it's still cold and brittle, bit thechocolate off around the top sort of 3rd, then deal with the ice cream. once that's done, do another third or so of chocolate outer, and again deal with ice cream. Repeat.
