Few people buy AMD GPU's, more people than not just want AMD to be cheap so nVidia lowers the price on their cards which they then go and buy.

AMD need to make some money too, just being there as a pricing check against nVidia has not worked for them in over a decade so thieve given up on it.
Damned if they do, damned if they don't.

Sorry but a £500 gpu struggling to get 50fps at 1080p is not competently.

Looks good to me, for single-player anyway. Obviously wouldn't use it in MP.

You are wrong here.
We have previously discussed with the others and it is clear that AMD put the same pricing on their videocards, while offering less framerates.

Here:
AMD released the Fury at the same RRP bit higher street prices than the 980ti despite being slower.
AMD released the 480 at the same price as the 1060 despite being slower.
AMD released Vega 64 as same price as the 1080 but slower.

The same with HD 3870, HD 4870 and HD 4890.

If the Radeons look cheaper, it's most probably because retailers drop the prices because the demand doesn't meet the supply.

Its quite simple guys, If by undercutting nVidia AMD sold more GPU's than nVidia they would sell cheaper with lower margins, they've tried that for a decade + to try and gain market share and all the while nVidia were the ones actually gaining market share often with more expensive slower cards.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different outcome every time.

Really?!
If there is a Radeon that is 20% faster than RTX 2080 Ti and for 800 pounds, what exactly will you stop from buying ti right now?

There wont be, AMD dont have the ability to compete at that level without wasting effort in doing so, their first priority is capturing the market and that isn't pointlessly measuring ***** at the top.

It's been proven pretty much every single year that no matter what AMD do, the market buys Nvidia, even when they have the faster card.

Honestly i think they should release the duo to market if only because it's something interesting. God knows what the new cross-speak between the cores does for latency though, i imagine the microstutter to be humorous.
