dvsale.uk

Well that’s one reason why I posted on here as there’s a lot of folk on here that’s helpful and know things! ...... blinded by the good prices and BIG brain farts.

Least everyone got a chuckle for a Monday night!

Well, at least we saved you some money and all you got was a slight ribbing ;) So it was worth it!

You know what I mean don't be a dingbat. You would think someone would check advertisements going out especially how quick it reaches people.

That's the thing - I didn't. It came across as though you genuinely think that :(

Think how many adverts Google approve - there's no chance they can get someone to check every single one

How does the registrar affect its legitimateness?
Probably because you can buy domains from them cheaply along with the fact that the site was only registered 4 months ago means that the items for sale there are highly likely to be as legit as a £7 note.

Eh? Implying every person who registers a domain via 123 is a fraudster of somekind?

You can buy .co.uk domains from a variety of registrar's for cheap prices. I work for an MSP and we pay buttons for them as we're a big reseller of theirs. My point is that just because the domain was purchased from 123-reg.co.uk, doesn't necessarily mean it's a dodgy one.

This site does not provide hard copy DVD only digital copies so you will receive a digital code straight to your e-mail address and there is a no refund policy. These are clearly shown within their T&Cs.

Seems legit.

I'm beginning to think OcUK is been attacked with spam as of the last 6 months.

You joined just to say that?

I'm not defending anything or anyone, and have not purchased from this site. I was looking up a dvd for my grand daughter and dvsale site came up first in Google. When I searched I came across this thread and having read the T&Cs I thought I would clarify a point of interest.

This might be the case, however it appears to have been an increase of spam from members who join with their firstname and their second name. Not saying directly you are one of these but it appears that everybody is suspicious now. :)

Why is it necessary for everyone to have fictitious names. As we approach Christmas no doubt there will be lots of people looking at this site and it is important for them to know they will not receive a product only a digital code. I do however feel that dvsale is being misleading and should be made to make it clearer but as Google and Facebook make lots of money from the adsites they are unlikely to do much.
