i plan on getting the B450 Tomahawk but I am worried about getting my Alpenfohn K2 Mount Doom. It’s currently mounted my 1150 socket Z87X mobo. Would anyone know how I could swap our to AM4 socket?

I have the AMD brackets but I’m not sure if they would work as the cooler releases even before Ryzen 2

According to the peeps in the first link the fittings from this kit worked, have a read, sounds promising for £2.99 :)

Damn, your a G as always!

How did you even find a 3 year old thread like that? I quoted the guy to ask what he meant by vertical spacers not working properly.

Also, as a sidenote, is the B450 tomahawk the best value for money AM4 board? I have wifi, gbit lan etc cards and dont need the features of carbon pro - spending an extra £100 on a mobo won't increase fps where as I could put it somewhere useful

Yes the Tomahawk is a pretty solid board. It has bios flashback as well, so you can update it without a cpu installed if you wanted to go with a Ryzen 3xxx cpu.
