The only problem is, what's it got to offer at 3440*1440 that my 1080ti doesn't already provide?
People keep buying... so draw your own conclusions! The original 20XX series cards have been slowly coming down in price, then the super cards were announced, so the original cards were due to drop in price when the super cards came out. So now the original cards have gone back up to the original price, so they can be reduced back down to what they were 2 weeks ago. How stupid do these retailers think we are ?
So from that are we to assume that there will be no 2080Ti S?
The price of the 2080 SUPER is within my range, as it's got to be what... £650?

Few extra frames and RTX? Thought this would have been obvious! Wait for 7nm man
and cost even more...I would wait. Look at the specs:

Its still an 8GB card too. The 7NM GPUs next year should hopefully push performance higher.
Next cards should offer better perf than from previous gen to the 2xxx series tbh. Think i will jump straight on a 3070/3080 minimum as soon as they release.and cost even more...
And that is the question everyone should always ask before upgrading. If you are not interested in RTX right now (only a handful of games and even then likely not playable at your Res) I would say not a lot.The price of the 2080 SUPER is within my range, as it's got to be what... £650?

I don’t know if we’ll see 900 series to pascal 1000 performance which was nearly 100% performance boost but it will be much more than the 30% we got this gen.
It was 60-70%. People would love to see that again.I don't know which upgrade path you took, but 980ti to 1080ti wasn't a 100% increase that I recall.![]()
Crucially, I'd love to see that without having to spend more than the card I'm replacing. I can easily get 60-70% if I want to spend 300% moreIt was 60-70%. People would love to see that again.
