Yet another price drop on the Corsair MP510 960GB from good old OCuk! I'm sure these were close to £230 when first released late last year!!

Definitely ordering one tomorrow morning myself.

Yep. they were pretty expensive at the time. NAND is still dropping, and NVMe drives are falling faster and due to reach parity soon 960GB version will be <£100 in less than 6 weeks.

Prices are moving all the time, that MP510 has come down and makes it much more appealing for an extra £10 even if you're on a tight budget.
I was considering the WD SN500 (512GB) which is only X2 but the 1TB MP510 at £120 is hard to ignore and I'll probably be get that.

Never considered any other brand other than Samsung, are the ones being recommended any better then as the price difference is big. I used to get Western digital HDD which used to get recommended, do they make good name?

I don't know how they do it, but Corsair drive are far more durable, not only as the same price drives but even drives that are more than twice the price. They might lose few percents in speed compared to more expensive drives. But if I have to chose to buy 1700 TBW drive for 120 or 600 TBW drive for 220 I know what I would buy.

Just ordered a Corsair MP510 960GB (to replace an old SM951 256GB), should arrive tomorrow hopefully. Think the performance/price is unbeatable (at the moment).

Looking a m.2 drive for storage (games) 1T capacity which one would you recommend ?

Thanks in advance
the corsair force does well in reviews for its price - I am considering getting this one. I got my daughter a fast Samsung and in real world usage I don't notice much difference compared to a sata ssd - so therefore the corsair force should be more than fast enough in normal situations

Picked up the corsair 510 too after reading this thread. Drives on 12.2 firmware but not getting the advertised speeds. 1500 read and write. Seeing benchmarks of 3000+ R/W

b45 aorus pro FW40
clean OS install

Any ideas what it might be.
